The Consul General of the Republic of Uganda in Mombasa,Amb.Paul Mukumbya accompanied by the Acting Commissioner URA, Mombasa Mr Julius Rubahamya with two officers from the Consulate made an official visit to the MD of Kenya Port Authority in Mombasa and discussed a wide range of trade and investment related issues.  The CG  thanked the MD for availing Uganda Revenue Authority with space to host it's offices at the port.

The Consul General of the Republic of Uganda in Mombasa,Amb.Paul Mukumbya paid a courtesy call on the County Commissioner of Mombasa, Mr.Kitiyo Gilbert and officially notified him as the new CG.The CC appreciated the good cordial working relationship the consulate has with the govt of Kenya and appreciated the trade influence Uganda boasts in Kenya and encouraged ore Ugandans to invest in housing, hotelier and transportation industry.

He was received by his host President Uhuru Kenyatta at Moi International Airport Mombasa and other dignitaries that included Deputy President William Ruto, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan,  Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda Hon. Sam Kutesa, Cabinet  Secretary for Foreign affairs Kenya Hon. Monica Juma among others.
